Not only was this the day after Hardy appeared on Impact, but also a day after he was indicted on drug charges.

It's an interesting situation because it shows that WWE is softening their stance on the company's drug policy. It says a lot about both WWE and TNA since there was such strong interest in Hardy despite news of his indictment coming out.

TNA officials are reportedly being very happy and impressed with the latest rating for last Thursday's Impact! show.



TNA iMPACT! of the 14th of January gained a score of 1.26 (rounded up to a 1.3). This is a major increase from the previous Thursday's 0.7 average (the 4-hour New Year's Eve show).



Following this increase, many are expecting another head-on show with Raw on a Monday very soon since TNA are aware of the current heat from the new signings.
